This paper aims to describe the negation aspects of Anàá, an Ife variety spoken in Kaboli in the north of Togo. The study is based on Dahl (2010), Jespersen (1917) and Greenberg (1963) which are general studies on negation in the languages of the world. In general, negation in Anàá is expressed through negation morphemes preceding, most of the time, the verbal predicate. However, beyond this mechanism, there are other linguistic realities and tools, which enter into the negation process.
